Dr.Melaxin Grows Boots Footprint After TikTok Shop Success

Korean skincare brand Dr.Melaxin has grown its Boots footprint to 196 stores nationwide, less than a year after launching in the UK.

The expansion follows strong demand through TikTok Shop UK, where the brand has generated more than £19 million in gross merchandise value and attracted more than 680,000 customers.

From 24 June, Dr.Melaxin will launch a dedicated skincare category bay across 156 Boots stores. This includes 88 locations stocking the brand for the first time and 68 existing stockists expanding their range.

Since launching in the UK in November 2025, Dr.Melaxin has sold more than 700,000 units through TikTok Shop UK. The brand also reached the number one position in TikTok Shop UK’s Beauty & Personal Care category, with its routine-care bundles occupying the platform’s top two bestseller spots.

The expansion highlights the growing role of social commerce in supporting retail distribution, with brands using platforms such as TikTok Shop to build consumer demand before scaling their presence through national store networks.

The Boots range includes several Dr.Melaxin products, including the Cemenrete Calcium Multi Balm and Peel Shot exfoliating range.

Dr.Melaxin is available in Boots stores nationwide, through Boots online and via TikTok Shop UK.
