Ray-Ban House Opens In New York’s Soho

-

Ray-Ban has opened Ray-Ban House in Soho, New York, introducing a townhouse space designed to bring eyewear, food, music and cultural programming into a single environment.

Located on the corner of Prince and Lafayette, the project has been conceived by the brand’s internal creative team. Rather than operating solely as a store, Ray-Ban House has been developed as an urban interior with elements of a home, stage and archive, reflecting its New York setting and its relationship with the street outside.

The two-storey townhouse uses curved metal surfaces that reflect the surrounding city during the day. At night, the building shifts in tone, turning inward while projecting light outward as a more visible presence on the corner.

An Interior Built Around Culture And Product

Inside, the environment is arranged without a fixed hierarchy. Satin metal curves, mirrored ceilings and deep red floors create a continuous setting, with eyewear placed alongside vinyl, books and found objects. The approach presents product within a broader cultural context rather than as a conventional display.

Hospitality forms part of the same narrative. Led by Pasquale Cozzolino, the food offer reflects the layered nature of the space. It is not defined by a single cuisine, instead moving between influences. Japanese milk bread sandos are reinterpreted through an American sensibility, alongside raw preparations, carpaccios and small plates intended for sharing.

The offer changes across the day, from lighter items including matcha and cold-pressed juices to a more social evening rhythm. The experience is designed to evolve rather than divide the day into separate formats.

Eyewear, Customisation And Opening Programming

Ray-Ban’s eyewear is present throughout the space, with core icons shown alongside experimental forms from Ray-Ban Studios. Upstairs, behind a concealed entrance, the VIP Room provides a quieter and more focused environment. Within this area, the Wayfarer Puffer Diamond is presented through customisation, with materials, stones and colour assembled into individual pieces that sit close to jewellery.
