Topshop and John Lewis hosted a London Fashion Week launch party at Piccadilly Lights, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s return to physical retail. In partnership with the British Fashion Council, guests were invited to explore ‘Together’, a bespoke art space created by Random International, where the latest Topshop and Topman collections were showcased.
The immersive installation combined fashion, art and live performance within a curated environment. The evening featured a high-energy set by Jeremiah Asiamah, followed by a headline performance from Ella Eyre, who performed four songs including ‘Rain in Heaven’, which she recently debuted with the BBC Concert Orchestra in the Radio 2 Piano Room. The guest list comprised VIPs, fashion press, digital influencers and industry leaders, alongside friends of Topshop, Topman and John Lewis.

Expansion Across 32 Stores
The event coincided with a significant expansion of the brands’ presence within the department store chain. From 17 February, Topshop has been available across 32 John Lewis stores nationwide and online, marking the brand’s first major physical retail presence since the closure of its standalone stores in 2021 following the collapse of the Arcadia Group.
The offer comprises a curated edit of approximately 130 pieces, spanning cult denim, statement jackets, footwear and trend-led wardrobe staples. Topman is stocked in seven John Lewis locations, providing a focused selection of contemporary menswear essentials.

Wider Investment Strategy
The return forms part of John Lewis’s wider £800 million multi-year investment in its retail proposition, including enhancements to its fashion floors and the introduction of new contemporary and premium brands. John Lewis will also serve as the exclusive UK physical retailer for Topshop footwear for SS26.
As part of the activation, customers can visit the Topshop kiosk outside John Lewis Oxford Street until 2 March, where they can browse the latest styles featured in the Topshop newspaper while enjoying a matcha.
