Montblanc has unveiled its Happy Holidays 2026 campaign, returning to the Montblanc Observatory High-Mountain Library, which has been transformed into a festive setting of twinkling trees and sparkling ornaments to celebrate the art of gift-giving.
The campaign reunites Rupert Friend, Joey King, Daniel Brühl, Esther McGregor, Waris Ahluwalia and Montblanc Global Brand Ambassador Xin Zhilei, who are pictured celebrating the season with a curated selection of Montblanc pieces. A short film directed by Roman Coppola captures a lively holiday party, with DJ sets, a soundtrack and gifts exchanged with handwritten notes.

At the centre of this year’s Happy Holidays capsule, which uses a winter forest animal motif in shades of bronze, green and ivory, is a special edition of the Montblanc Writing Traveler Briefcase in bronze-toned laminated smooth leather with a sfumato effect. Designed by Montblanc Artistic Director Marco Tomasetta as a portable writing sanctuary, the briefcase has a large front pocket that opens to reveal compartments for a notebook, writing instruments, a watch and a small leather accessory such as a wallet. In the special edition, the pocket opens onto an illustrated lining of winter forest animals, and the bag can be styled with a leather bag charm in the shape of an owl or a squirrel.
The animal motif extends to notebooks and pen pouches in green or ivory smooth leather, alongside inks in two seasonal colours, Gingerbread and Scots Pine. The capsule is completed by small leather goods including the Mini Wallet 4cc and the Card Holder 5cc, both in bronze-toned or green laminated smooth leather with a sfumato effect.

For writing instruments, the campaign features the Meisterstück Gold-Coated 149 Fountain Pen, with a black precious resin cap and barrel, a handcrafted Au 750 solid gold nib and the Montblanc emblem inlaid in the cap top. The Meisterstück, first introduced in 1924, is also offered in a new deep burgundy colourway as the Meisterstück Burgundy Red Classique, available as a fountain pen with a handcrafted bi-colour solid Au 585 gold nib and in rollerball and ballpoint styles.
The leather goods selection includes the Montblanc Companion Rectangular Backpack in khaki Sartorial leather, which converts from a backpack to a horizontal briefcase, and the Panorama Medium Backpack in Extreme Soft leather with a padded 13-inch laptop sleeve. Also featured are the Writing Traveler Briefcase in black grain leather, the Weekender in ebony suede leather, the Envelope Clutch in black grain leather with Meisterstück leather detailing, and the Companion Crossbody Bag in khaki grain leather with nib-shaped cutouts and a detachable, adjustable strap.

The watch selection is led by the Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date, which pairs a black dial created with the Maison’s gratté-boisé technique to evoke the texture of the Mer de Glace glacier with a bronze-toned case. It is water-resistant to approximately 300 metres and comes with a bi-colour unidirectional bezel and an interchangeable black rubber strap.
The campaign follows the 2025 Happy Holidays season, when the High-Mountain Library theme was brought into Montblanc’s UK and Ireland boutiques, and the recent opening of a new boutique at Selfridges London. Founded in 1906, Montblanc today spans writing instruments, leather goods, watches, art of the desk and accessories.
