The Visual Merchandising and Display Show will return in 2026 to London’s Business Design Centre, continuing its role as a key meeting point for professionals across visual merchandising, retail design, and display. The two-day event will run from 9:30 to 17:00 on day one and 9:30 to 16:30 on day two, bringing together retailers, designers, brand teams, and suppliers seeking insight into evolving physical environments.
The Visual Merchandising and Display Show reflects wider industry trends including the integration of digital technology, increased focus on sustainability, and the growing importance of experiential design. Attendees from retail, hospitality, leisure, and entertainment sectors will be looking at how these trends translate into practical solutions within stores and customer-facing spaces.

Exhibition Overview
More than 100 brands are expected to take part, with the 2026 edition including a comprehensive list spanning signage, lighting, digital displays, POP/POS, fixtures, mannequins, retail technology, and specialist design services. The line-up reflects the breadth of the sector, combining established providers with newer entrants responding to changing client requirements.
The exhibition floor will combine product showcases with live demonstrations and interactive installations, offering insight into how design concepts are being implemented. Areas of focus are expected to include sustainable materials, data-driven merchandising, and immersive in-store experiences, reflecting the direction of travel across the sector.

Conference and Workshop Programme
The POPAI Zone will return as a central feature of the programme, delivering a schedule of talks and panel discussions focused on shopper behaviour, sustainability, store design, and the application of AI in retail environments. Contributors from brands and agencies are expected to share case studies and operational perspectives, alongside updates from POPAI UK & Ireland.
The conference and workshop programme will run alongside the exhibition, providing both strategic context and practical guidance across a range of topics, from consumer insight and design strategy to implementation challenges within physical retail.

With continued demand from across retail and hospitality and leisure sectors, the 2026 edition is expected to provide a detailed snapshot of how physical environments are evolving in response to changing consumer expectations. The combination of a broad brand base and a content-led programme positions the event as both a sourcing platform and a forum for industry discussion, where practical solutions sit alongside strategic thinking.
As brands place increasing emphasis on experience, flexibility, and measurable performance within physical spaces, the show offers an opportunity to assess how these priorities are being interpreted across the sector. The breadth of categories represented also enables visitors to evaluate how different elements, from materials and fixtures to digital integration, are being combined to deliver cohesive in-store environments.
Registration for the show itself remains free, with early sign-up recommended to ensure access across both days. At a time when physical environments are being rethought at pace, balancing creativity, commercial performance, and sustainability, the 2026 edition offers a timely opportunity to see how these pressures are being resolved in practice.
